Our Aboriginal Cultural Diversity Training is an excellent opportunity for professional development. During the training, you will be introduced to an alternate provincial history. A history that spans thousands of years and that has seen four diverse, thriving, and strong Aboriginal groups persevere.
The one day training is a comprehensive training, focusing more towards discussion and participation. This training is recommended especially for those who work directly with Aboriginal clients, or have Aboriginal staff members. This full day session includes an hour lunch break, with the option of choosing lunch from our own Four Fires Catering. Lunch is an extra cost of $20 per person. Lunch options include:
1) Indian Tacos
Thinly fried bannock, topped with seasoned elk/moose. Piled high with fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, salsa, and sour cream.
2) Labrador Tea Noodle Salad
Carrots, cucumber, rice noodles cooked in Labrador Tea broth, sprouts and other seasonal vegetables, tossed with a spicy Thai inspired dressing.
